From atelier to your doorstep
How fulfilment, delivery, international shipping, and made-to-order timelines work on African Kouture.
Fulfilment options
African Kouture supports local delivery, nationwide shipping within Nigeria, international shipping, and store pickup — but the specific options available on any order depend on what the fashion house fulfilling it offers. Available methods, delivery fees, and estimated timing are shown at checkout before you pay.
Local and nationwide delivery
Local deliveries within a fashion house's service area are typically fulfilled by our logistics partners and may include live driver tracking from your order dashboard. Nationwide shipments move through courier partners and are trackable using the tracking reference provided once your order ships.
International shipping
Where a fashion house offers international shipping, orders are shipped from Nigeria and are subject to the destination country's own customs, import duty, and tax rules. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, the recipient is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees charged by their local customs authority on arrival — this is standard for cross-border parcels and is separate from the price paid at checkout. Nigerian export shipments are also subject to standard Nigeria Customs Service documentation requirements, which our logistics partners handle as part of fulfilment.
Made-to-order and bespoke timelines
Custom and made-to-order pieces are produced after the order is placed, so delivery timelines run longer than ready-to-wear and are set by the fulfilling fashion house. Estimated production time is shown wherever a fashion house offers customisation.
Delays and delivery issues
If a delivery is significantly delayed or you believe it's been lost in transit, contact us with your order number and we'll investigate with the fashion house and courier on your behalf. See Contact Us.
